yesterday
i put on those old converse i like to blog about
and i ran a long ways.
and today
i'm walking like a person with a bad case of multiple sclerosis.

haven't been this sore for a long long time.

p.s. sometimes you get a compliment that's so generous and sweet
that it makes you cry.
and you can't even think up an appropriate response.
